TRY a bit of Melbourne in Melville at the recently opened Blend Cafe and Pizza Bar on Marmion Street.

A funky eatery with colourful charm and great food to boot, Blend buzzes with lucky locals who have already discovered its laidback vibe and alternative philosophy.

Pop in for brekkie on the way home from the beach or try homemade cake and cookies and one of co-owner Almin Fulurija’s superb coffees – Al was WA Barista of the Year in 2005.

For breakfast, you can’t go past Blend’s homemade muesli, free-range eggs benedict and pancake stack with wild berry compote.

Healthy gourmet burgers fit the bill at lunch. Try the free-range tandoori chicken burger or embrace your inner vegan with a spicy tofu burger.
Dinner is all about the wood-fired pizzas, freshly prepared by one of Blend’s experienced pizza makers.

Popular options include the “wild child”, with free-range chicken, feta, roasted capsicum and basil pesto, and the calzone, a rustic folded pizza filled with Italian sausage, mushrooms, kalamata olives and fresh ricotta.

As the night draws in, give yourself “sweet dreams” with one of Blend’s rotating dessert pizza specials, like a lustful custard, banana and honey calzone served with ice cream.

With comfy red and silver leather booths and a counter in the window for people-watching, Blend is the perfect spot to chew the fat with family and friends or settle down with the paper and a coffee.

Due to popular demand, Blend is now open Monday nights and serves pizza for lunch.

The most pleasant of staff that you could hope to meet....

Food variety is wonderful. Coffee is divine. A must for those in the surrounding areas and beyond!

The real kicker has to be that you dont pay corkage...come one people where do we see that these days??

I LOVE this place, best pizza I have ever had ' Little Red Rooster' and the great Eggs Benedict and coffee. I forgot his name but the asian male staff memeber is fantasic great service with a smile :)

Blend is a great place for families. Menu is a little restrictive in variety. Coffee is excellent, although at busy times orders can be forgotten. I can never work out whether it is table of counter service as it has changed a few times since opening.

We have been at least once a month since Blend opened - either for a dine in meal or take way pizza or a short stroll from home for a lazy Saturday brekky - high recommend - in fact this could be the life blood of Melville!!

Great place to visit, jazzy,welcoming, atmosphere. Pizza is fantastic (and fast), coffee is the best EVER!!!!!! Staff attends promptly and is very friendly. Blend is a real treasure and I am so glad I found it! :)

service is good. however is a bit busy and noisy. casual atmosphere. coffee taste ok cake is not as good as expected.
