HOG’S Breath Café in Mindarie caters for all size appetites, welcoming diners with a promise that nobody will leave hungry or thirsty.

“If you haven’t been here for dinner before, don’t have lunch as the delicious food will feed the largest of appetites,” owner Miles Wood said.

“We are proud of our excellent food, value for money and the unmatched level of service — we call it hogspitality.”

The Mindarie café has been dishing up its special brand of hospitality since mid-2006, building an enviable reputation for quality and value.

Its signature prime rib steak is slow-cooked for 18 hours to maximise flavour and tenderness and comes in lite, traditional and mega cuts, with a choice of sides and toppings.

Other dining options include appetisers and snacks (such as Boss Hog crumbed mushrooms), salads, burgers, wraps and sandwiches, seafood, pasta and chicken.

Several come in lite serves, including the chicken mushroom, chicken parmigiana, chicken dijonnaise (topped with avocado and mustard sauce), and pan-fried fish.

New to the menu are the Towers for Two, tiered plates of mixed grill (steak, ribs, lamb cutlets and bacon) or hot seafood (lemon myrtle salmon, barramundi, prawns and calamari), served with fries and salad.

Whatever your choice, be sure to leave room for a yummy dessert such as a banana and caramel custard banoffi pie, eight-scoop rocky road sundae or strawberry and chocolate fondue. There is also a range of coffees.

The upcoming school holidays are a great chance to take advantage of a special meal-deal.

A child under 12 can eat free between 5pm and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, with every adult meal over $23.95.

Hog’s Breath is licensed and open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, 11.30am to 3pm and from 5pm, plus Sunday breakfast.
