EARLIER this week, the gorgeous and talented Pete Murray rejoined the touring circuit, performing two shows at the Regal Theatre in Subiaco.
Often described as the ‘drinking woman’s’ heart-throb, Murray is the perfect mix of brawn, good looks – and who could forget that voice?
However, as attractive as I find Murray to be (and yes, I am a drinking woman!), I seem to be.... more »

THINK of the word summer and what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
Is it the beach, the stinking hot weather, sitting inside with the air-conditioner cranked up or daylight savings?
For me, one of the first things I think of is summer music festivals and outdoor concerts, and although the warm weather is still a couple of months away, the press releases for.... more »

MUSIC producer and recording artist Timbaland has postponed his upcoming tour until August.
The Shock Value tour was to visit all Australian capital cities, with the hip hop star set to play Perth this weekend.

Take, for example, the train wreck that is Amy Winehouse, the British singer who in the space of just four years has gone.... more »

THERE is something totally satisfying about discovering a new band – and the satisfaction becomes even better when you listen to that band’s latest album only to realise that it is one of those records where every track is a keeper.
Last year, I was doing some research for an interview with the Plain White T’s when I came across a tour with a bill to die for (well, for someone with.... more »

WITH the track Viva La Vida jumping straight to the top of my ‘most played’ songs on my iPod despite downloading it just a few short weeks ago, you can imagine my excitement when a copy of Coldplay’s new album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends landed on my desk last week.
I have to admit that when Coldplay first hit the airwaves with Yellow back in.... more »
