ITS or it’s: so many people seem to be confused about which one to use.
It’s so easy: it’s (with the apostrophe) always means “it is”.
Its without the apostrophe means belonging to it e.g. the dog ate its biscuit.
Recently, in Geraldton, we visited the exquisite memorial to the lives lost on HMAS Sydney.
Its story is told in gold on beautiful black marble but, there was the dreaded apostrophe in the wrong place.
Please, all sign writers, make sure you’re using the correct one.
