FREMANTLE’S Midland Disposals Store has re-opened in South Fremantle after 10 weeks of uncertainty.

It is now little further south than its previous High Street location and store manager Jan Witham said trade was starting to pick up again after the move.

“We don’t get as much passing trade as we used to and at first we were having very quiet weeks, but now people are getting to know where we are,’ she said.

The manager said staff were happy to be in the new location.

“Our things are set out a lot differently,” she said.

“You can more or less see what you’re looking for and it’s better for parking for our customers.”

Great News, I thought it had gone the same way at the Rockingham Store.

Well Done.
