SCARBOROUGH jewellery designer Keiko Uno is hoping to tap into US and London markets by taking her Ocean Intrigue collection to high-end retailers Bergdoff Goodman and Harrods this week.
The qualified gemologist’s premier jewellery collection, launched last year, features 18-carat gold jewellery with diamonds and coloured gemstones drawing inspiration from the jeweller’s favourite coastal holiday destinations.
Ms Uno said that on the back of her successful Australian launch of Ocean Intrigue she was hoping her travels to LA, New York and London would help build her brand.
“I’m spending a week in LA, New York and London and would like to showcase my luxury collection at Barneys in New York and Harrods in London and my new collection of silver and diamond jewellery at any combination of Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Bergdoff Goodman in the US and Liberty’s, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols in London.
I’ll also be talking to some high-end fashion emporiums such as Browns in London and Jeffreys in the US,” she said.
