MANDURAH companies Diamond Campers and Kanyana Engineering have launched an upmarket camper trailer, and were spruiking the luxury product at the Caravan and Camping Show last week.

Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) business engagement officer Pabs Nagra organised promotion of the new model camper through the CCI stall.

He described the state-of-the-art camper as a real success story for a local engineering company

Manufacturing and distribution company Kanyana Engineering have been making made-to-order off-road campers and tray-back fit-outs in the Peel region for 15 years.

Director Sharon Dawe said the Grand Traka was their first deluxe model that had a private ensuite.

High-end specifications include a $3000 entertainment system, a fully enclosed annex, sunroom and a satellite system.

“It is completely unique… it’s generating a lot of interest,” she said.

Mrs Dawe said a more traditional model, The Force, will be released soon.
