LOTTO tickets worth $2600 were taken from a Dalkeith post office on Saturday morning.
Police said two men used a hammer to smash the rear door of the building on Waratah Avenue, about 3.30am, taking the tickets and a laptop computer.
It is believed the men may have been driving a blue Subaru WRX.
The tickets have been cancelled but police said attempts could be made to claim winnings.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
