THE little league baseball stars from the Melville Braves will mix it with the best in their age group when they compete in the State Championship tournament next month.
Playing under the banner Southern Titans, the 11 and 12-year olds will get the opportunity to show off their talent to representatives and play for the honour of being declared State Champions.
The winners will go on to represent the State in a national competition in Queensland in June, with the possibility to compete in the Asia-Pacific championships in July.
Southern Titans coach Andy Cosgrove said the championship gave the children the opportunity to develop their skills.
